Simple Roasted Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 steak
  • 1 Tbsp (15g) kosher salt
  • 1 tsp (3g) fresh cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together salt and black pepper until fully incorporated.
  3. Place steaks on a wire rack-lined baking tray, and season all sides.
  4. Place the tray in the oven. Cook for 20-25 minutes. The internal temperature should be 125°F (50°C). 
  5. Remove the steak from the oven, and allow it to rest for 5-8 minutes.
