Simple Gas Grill Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 steak
  • 1 Tbsp (15g) kosher salt
  • 1 tsp (3g) fresh cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Begin by preheating the grill until it reaches a temperature between 400-450°F (200-230°C).
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together salt and black pepper until fully incorporated. Season the steak on all sides.
  3. Once the grill has preheated, place the seasoned steak on the grill and sear for 2-3 then do a quarter turn and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Flip the steak and repeat the previous step.
  5. Once the steak has reached an internal temperature of 125°F (50°C), transfer to a wire rack-lined baking tray and rest for 5-8 minutes.
