Cheap & Easy Puff Pastry with Frozen Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed 
  • Whipped cream, to serve
  • 12 frozen strawberries
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 
  • 9 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  3. Cut the puff pastry into nine 4x4” (10x10cm) squares and arrange onto the prepared baking sheet. 
  4. Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and beautifully puffed. Set aside to cool. 
  5. Once cooled, split a baked puff pastry in half and place the bottom half onto a serving plate.
  6. Spoon 2 generous dollops of whipped cream onto the bottom half. 
  7. Grate a frozen strawberry over the whipped cream.
  8. Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk.
  9. Top with the remaining half of puff pastry, another dollop of whipped cream, fresh sliced strawberries, a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk and a final grating of frozen strawberry.
