The Easiest Cold Brew Ever: 2 Ways

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups (80g) dark roasted coffee beans (Ideally espresso beans, coarse grind, something like coarse cornmeal)
  • 6 cups (1400g) water

Directions

First Method:

  1. Grind 1 ½ cups of coffee beans, leaving it relatively coarse. Add to a ½ gallon container.
  2. Add 6 cups of water, stir and leave in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
  3. Remove from the fridge and strainer through a fine mesh strainer covered with cheesecloth. OR Pour through the filter of a pour-over.

Second Method:

  1. Grind 1 ½ cups of coffee beans, leaving it relatively coarse. Add to a ½ gallon container.
  2. Add 2 cups of hot water, stir and let it sit for 1 minute. Add remaining 4 cups of cold water.
  3. Stir, and leave in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
  4. Remove from the fridge and strainer through a fine mesh strainer covered with cheesecloth. OR Pour through the filter of a pour-over.
